The key pitch is smaller. physical dimensions are a little smaller, providing GPS for enhanced access to location-based applications and services, the Black Berry 8800 measures 114 x 66 x 14mm and weighs 134 grams. Great phone experience w/ Advanced noise and echo cancellation. RIM says the 8800 series has better battery life (1400MaH battery pack), the 8800 is also being pushed as a consumer and small business device.
